T O P I C R E V I E WspaceukI went my local 2nd hand bookshop ferreting for a book on household formulaes. But,my eagerness got the better of me and away I went to the science/astronomy section. And there it was - waiting for me almost - Homer Newell's tome "Express to the Stars" [1962] .Also, a small book that has some early B&W photos of V-1/V-2 and Viking in it.On my way out stopped at the stamp section and there they were - another three sheets of various space stamps including topics on Apollo,Russian missions etc. Great !And,to cap it all off he gave me a whopping discount of around US$10 on a bill that was only US$40 anyway (I had some other formula books in this as well)So,twas a good day after all...................Jakegood for you...!------------------Jake Schultz - curator,Newport Way Air Museum (OK, it's just my home)BLACKARROWAlthough I have been fascinated with space exploration since I was knee-high to a grasshopper (i.e. 12th April, 1961)I only had a few space-related books until about 7 years ago when I was browsing through a second-hand book-shop. I found a copy of "Carrying the Fire" by Michael Collins. A few weeks later I found "First on the Moon." In another second-hand bookshop I later found a batch of 4 or 5 NASA "SP" reports (Viking and Voyager). The same bookshop provided me with "Apollo" by Murray & Cox about 2 years ago.I now have around 155 space-related books, and there's room for more!
